Mr. Benny Cenac, CEO of Cenac Marine Services and owner of Golden Ranch Whitetails has partnered with 4:13 Outdoor Ministries to make a young man’s dreams come true. 4:13 Outdoor Ministries is a faith based 501C3 organization which caters to disabled children and veterans. Most of the staff at 4:13 Outdoor Ministries are disabled individuals and veterans as well. The goal of the ministry is to sponsor fishing trips, hunts and faith based camps for those who are not able to afford these adventures as well as are not in prime physical condition to go on these outings. As stated on the 4:13 Outdoor Ministries’ website, which can be found here, “This organization encourages individuals in the outdoors by teaching people to put God first and you can and will achieve unreachable goals, as stated in Philippians 4:13 “I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me”.
Mr. Cenac and Golden Ranch donated a hunt at Golden Ranch to 12 year old Cameron Pounders who has Muscular Atrophy. On the hunt, Cameron was able to harvest an 11 point buck and a nice, mature doe. Warren J. Coupel Jr., who is the president of the organization said, “Without people like Mr. Benny and Golden Ranch, they wouldn’t be able to do what they do. Cameron is going to remember this for the rest of his life and for that we are thankful.” 4:13 Outdoor Ministries also stated, “Cameron and his family were treated like royalty by Josh Kaplan and the rest of the staff at Golden Ranch. We will all hold a special place in our hearts for this place.”
Mr. Benny and the staff at Golden Ranch are happy to be a part of such a faith driven, compassionate cause. Not only does the organization focus on funding and raising funds for the disabled, veterans and at risk youth, they participate in either sponsoring, helping raise funds or donating to great causes like, American Cancer Society, Bayou Autism Chapter, Community Worship Center, Dreams Come True Foundation, and The Church International. They have also done disaster assistance in Assumption parish for tornado relief serving almost 8,000 meals in a week as well as offered aid in the Great Flood of 2016 by providing food to areas and neighborhoods that were still flooded.
4:13 Outdoor Ministry will continue in their endeavor to help and serve those in need on an as needed basis with the help of supporters, sponsors and donations like they generously received from Benny Cenac and Golden Ranch.
